EarthX aims to educate and inspire people to live more sustainably and as part of this mission they host the world’s largest event focused on sustainable living. In 2019, Caliber had the opportunity to partner with EarthX to create a theme and aesthetic for the annual expo, conference and film festival.
A record setting 175,000 people attended Earthx2019 held here in Dallas. Throughout the three-day expo, attendees were greeted by 8-foot-tall data displays full of environmental facts. Each data display featured its own unique set of graphics and detailed information.
From above, colorful wayfinding signage was hung to direct
attendees down aisles of resourceful information. The use of
halftone imagery paired with large bold type, made for a fun and easy
navigation system used throughout the expo buildings.
Environmental signage was also utilized to draw attention to the upcoming event. Caliber designed an outdoor billboard reading “Make Your Mother Proud”, a phrase that became a cornerstone of the event’s overarching goal.
Graphics were also made for EarthX swag pieces such as stickers and t-shirts allowing patrons to take home a little bit of the 2019 EarthX theme.
